It far exceeded our expectations. the bungalow was much more spacious than the photos showed and was very clean and well equipped. We loved the peaceful and quiet surroundings, except for the occasional sound of cows which added to the charm. the outdoor space was perfect for our dog, with plenty of equipment available for us to use. We even had the opportunity to host a small family gathering, which was greatly appreciated. the location was great, with lovely views of the countryside and plenty of activities nearby. the hosts seemed to really listen to feedback and make improvements, such as providing fans and comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this bungalow and it has become our go-to holiday destination. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 👍.

The location was peaceful and perfect for getting away from it all. the self catering facilities were ample and the bathroom was very clean with an excellent shower. the furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of dog-friendly amenities available. the hosts were accommodating and allowed us to host a small family gathering. Great nearby activities and consistently good WiFi.

The location was perfect, with a charming village nearby that had all the amenities we needed. Being able to walk to shops, pubs, and restaurants in just 10-15 minutes was really convenient. And the surrounding New Forest area was a nature lover's dream, with beautiful streams and wildlife to explore. Our Labrador absolutely loved it too, thanks to the enclosed garden. It was great to have a safe and secure space for our furry friend to enjoy.

Although our overall experience was positive, there were a few minor drawbacks. the garden could use some attention to make it even more enjoyable, and we also noticed some dog hairs in the bedding and on the furniture, which wasn't ideal.

I had a truly relaxing stay at Swallows Retreat. The location was perfect, tucked away in a peaceful area with beautiful countryside views. The property itself was spacious and well-equipped, exceeding my expectations. The cleanliness of the place was great, except for a few minor details. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the easy access to the nearby town and the New Forest. I highly recommend this retreat for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The self catering cooking facilities were excellent, with plenty of crockery and cutlery provided. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was fantastic. The comfortable furniture and fittings were all in great condition. It was also a bonus that the bungalow felt safe and secure. I was extremely pleased with my stay at Swallows Retreat.

Although it was a minor inconvenience, there were a few too many cutlery items and we couldn't find a knife sharpener to enhance the cutting edges of some knives. Additionally, the presence of CCTV was a bit unsettling, and it would have been helpful to have a fridge door bin for storing milk.

Booked at the last minute, and so glad we were able to stay here. A beautiful quiet location with every need catered for. A perfect place to have a break from the madness of life and restore the soul. It was such a pleasure to know that our dogs were safe with no escape and plenty of room to run around. Lovely views, peace and quiet, many birds of nature, and fresh air! the self-catering cooking facilities were very good with ample crockery and cutlery. the whole place, especially the bathroom, was very clean and the shower excellent. the furniture was comfortable and all the other fixtures and fittings were fine. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at this retreat. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect. 👍.
